One of the best outdoor training experiences in one’s career, the Winter Training Camp run by Bill and Kathi Merchant of Alaska Ultra Sport is a superb skills-based, hands-on training seminar for those who want to attempt the 350-mile Iditarod Trail Invitational ultra marathon, or for anyone looking for training in multi-day arctic racing or adventure travel.

This year’s camp was attended by nine participants representing seven countries (Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Italy, South Africa and the USA).  Not only a world-class training experience, but also a great social event for making new friends and extending the growing network of mountain bikers and adventure racers to a worldwide format.
